The 28th National Chinese Life Insurance Congress, organised by Insurance Marketing Group (IMM), brought together over 2,600 participants from across the industry, a powerful gathering focused on protection, planning, and the role insurance plays in people’s lives.
For us at OrthoKai, it was more than just an event. It was an opportunity to share something deeply personal: the human side of mobility, recovery, and resilience.

A Story That Moved the Room
At the heart of our participation was Irene, our ambassador, and more importantly, a living example of strength and recovery.
She shared her journey openly:
The life changing event that led to her amputation
The emotional and physical challenges that followed
The long road of learning how to walk again
Her story wasn’t just about loss — it was about rebuilding.
Through her experience, we highlighted an important message:
Recovery is not just about having a prosthetic It’s about finding the right prosthetic, the right team, and the right long-term care.
We also briefly touched on how proper insurance planning can support patients through these life-changing moments — but the focus remained where it mattered most: the person behind the story.
Bringing Mobility Solutions Closer to the Community

Beyond the stage, OrthoKai also set up a booth at the congress to engage directly with participants.
We had the chance to connect with a wide range of professionals, many of whom were exploring:
How prosthetics and orthotics fit into long-term care planning
What solutions are available for clients facing mobility challenges
How early awareness can make a difference in outcomes
More importantly, it opened meaningful conversations about how mobility care and financial protection can work hand-in-hand to better support individuals and families.
Why This Matters
Events like this remind us that what we do goes beyond devices.
It’s about, restoring independence ,supporting dignity and helping people return to life, work, and the things they love
And it takes a collective effort — healthcare providers, insurers, and communities, to make that journey possible.

Moving Forward
We’re grateful to Insurance Marketing Group (IMM) for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful event.
Moments like these reinforce why we do what we do — and push us to continue raising awareness, improving care, and reaching more people who need support.
At OrthoKai, this is just the beginning.
