OrthoKai Joins Hong Leong Bank's "Wellbeing at Work & Beyond"

On 15 July, OrthoKai joined Hong Leong Bank Tower's annual staff wellness event, part of the bank's ongoing "Wellbeing at Work & Beyond" initiative.
The event brings together health and wellness partners from different fields, all working toward one goal: helping staff take better care of themselves, not only at work, but in their everyday lives. At OrthoKai, we were glad to have the opportunity to meet and connect with the Hong Leong team. It also allowed us to better understand the everyday discomforts that many people quietly live with and share how the right orthotic support can make a meaningful difference.

Throughout the day, our team will be on hand with a range of supportive care solutions, including:
Hand braces for wrist soreness and carpal tunnel support
Back braces for back discomfort
Unloader knee braces for knee pain, including knee osteoarthritis
Baby helmets for flat head management
Custom insoles for better foot support
The Highlight: Free Foot Pressure Assessments
One of the highlights of the day was our foot pressure assessment, using a pressure plate system provided through our partnership with Podiatech, a French company specialising in podiatric assessment and foot care solutions.
Through this assessment, the team was able to see how pressure is distributed across their feet while standing. This gives a clearer picture of possible imbalances, pressure points, or areas that may be contributing to foot pain, knee discomfort, back ache, or general fatigue from prolonged standing and walking.
Why Foot Health Affects More Than Just Your Feet
Many people only start paying attention to their feet once pain sets in. But our feet play an important role in how the rest of the body moves.
Small changes in foot posture or pressure can affect comfort right up through the knees, hips, and back. That is why assessments like this matter, they help people understand their own bodies a little better, and take early steps toward better support, better movement, and better long-term comfort.
